Want a free pass to the 2007 Super Bowl in Miami this coming January?

The Toro Company can make it happen if you’re a turf student and willing to help get the field in Super Bowl shape.

The Toro Company’s fifth annual Toro Super Bowl Sports Turf Training Program is accepting applications, and one lucky student will get an all expenses trip to Miami to work with grounds pros like Ed Mangan and George Toma.

Hey, you're going to work during your trip to the Super Bowl (like these guys in 2006), but you'll love it.

Toro equipment and representatives have been involved in preparing the stadium and practice fields since the first Super Bowl in 1967.

The selected student can expect a variety of experiences including athletic field maintenance, field lining, logo painting, field preparation for media day, half time preparation and cleanup.

To be considered for the program, the student must complete and submit the application form, as well as a 500-word typed essay, describing where they see themselves professionally in 5 years and what they hope to accomplish during that time.

The student must be enrolled in their second year at a 2-year turf program or in their junior year at a 4-year turf program, and must be available to work from January 28 – February 5, 2007. Entries must be postmarked by October 16, 2006 and the winner will be announced on December 1, 2006. An application form is available online at www.torosports.com/superbowl.
