Gillette Stadium's playing surface earns FIFA 2-Star status

FOXBORO, MA — Gillette Stadium's FieldTurf Duraspine PRO surface has earned FIFA 2-Star recommended status, making it the only FIFA 2-Star certified field in the United States.

The FIFA Recommended 2-Star designation is the highest synthetic turf rating from FIFA and is issued after a battery of tests are performed by a FIFA approved testing agent. FIFA final round competitions and top UEFA competitions have the FIFA Recommended 2-Star in their respective competition regulations.

Gillette Stadium is home to the Major League Soccer New England Revolution and the National Football League New England Patriots.
