Super Lawn Trucks relocates to Fort Valley, GA
14 Mar, 2008 LM Direct!FORT VALLEY, GA — Super Lawn Trucks has relocated its manufacturing facility and administrative offices to Fort Valley, GA.
The relocation from Bonaire, GA, allows SLT to continue meeting the demand of lawn and landscape business owners and further expand its manufacturing capabilities, while bringing jobs to the area.
“This move is allowing us to double our output capacity in 2008,” Tony Bass, founder and president of SLT, who selected the Peach County location because of the established workforce well trained in the manufacturing of specialty vehicles. “As a result, we will be adding five new jobs in our company immediately to assist in welding and fabrication, inside sales, outside sales and administrative functions. We also plan to add another five positions during our first year, and an additional 25 to 30 jobs over the next five years here in Peach County.”
SLT is constructing a permanent facility which will open by the end of the year. The company purchased a 16-acre parcel in Peach County to include approximately 20,000 square feet for manufacturing and assembly and 5,000 square feet for administrative offices.

Additionally, SLT is receiving assistance from the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute, which helps companies, entrepreneurs, economic developers and communities improve their competitiveness through the application of science, technology and innovation.
