MILWAUKEE — Learn better ways to manage snow and ice through more informed deicing and anti-icing strategies during the newly introduced Deicing & Anti-Icing Day on Wednesday, June 23, during the Snow & Ice Symposium in Providence, RI. Presented by the Snow & Ice Management Association, this interactive workshop will include classroom training, face-to-face networking time, individual case studies and an equipment display.

Highlights will include:

Connie Fortin of Fortin Consulting will provide training that will help you adjust equipment, incorporate liquids into operations and understand and compute application rates — all of which will help you use salt and other chemicals more effectively.
Case studies on how contractors have successfully incorporated liquids into their businesses.
An in-depth look at several pieces of deicing & anti-icing equipment, provided by Fisher Engineering, Swenson Spreader and Taconic Maintenance.
