Vista Lighting team brightens the holiday at Children's Hospital
7 Dec, 2008 LM Direct!LOS ANGELES — Children's Hospital of Los Angeles makes a world of difference in the lives of thousands of critically ill children each year. The outstanding care that the facility provides is truly inspiring.

With the holiday season being a particularly difficult time for patients and their families, Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting organizes an event that brings special cheer to the facility in the month of December, the Vista Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Organized each year by a team of employee volunteers and supported financially by Vista owners Dan and Martha Cuñado, the event transforms the hospital's central healing garden into a holiday wonderland. The volunteers install decorations, lights and the hospital's giant holiday tree to create a festive atmosphere for the event.
On the evening of the event, a magical scene unfolds. Patients gather as the decorations are lit and enjoy live entertainment. In 2007, singer Debra Gibson performed for the patients and their families. At the special moment, the announcer has the audience count down for the lighting of the giant tree, which comes to life with thousands of twinkling lights. Then the faces of the children brighten with the arrival of Santa Claus, who delivers special gifts to each patent.
The entire Vista family is pleased to be part of this important event and to extend our support to Children's Hospital throughout the year.
