Get informed at the OFA Short Course
29 May, 2008 By: Landscape Management Staff LDB SolutionsThe 2008 OFA Short Course takes place in Columbus July 12-15. In addition to a full schedule of educational sessions and workshops, and a busy trade show, this year's Short course will feature a number of new programs and will see the return of the most popular events.
This year’s educational program has several sessions devoted to sustainability. These sessions, taken together or separately, can help you understand the sustainability concept, its potential impact on your business, and the many opportunities (and pitfalls) it represents.
The American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA) will bring its annual meeting to the OFA Short Course. This is a great opportunity for OFA and ANLA stakeholders to seek greater success for the entire green industry.
Looking to connect with peers and see what other young professionals are doing in the industry? Stop by “Unplugged,” a casual networking event for young industry professionals that takes place July 14. Hang out with your peers for food, drinks, and live music.
The approximately 10,000 exhibitors and attendees that will fill the trade show floor and session halls of the 2008 Short Course are some of the best the green industry has to offer. You’ll have an opportunity to connect, whether in panel discussions or hallway conversations or after-hours networking events.
The OFA Short Course trade show was named as one of the 200 largest trade shows in the Tradeshow Week 200. With nearly 152,000 net sq. ft. of exhibit space, the OFA Short Course was ranked as No. 185 in the United States for 2007. The show was No. 194 the previous year.
