Hardscapes
Hardscape North America exhibitors will be at GIE+EXPO
15 Oct, 2010 LDB SolutionsExpanded show takes place Oct. 28-30 in Louisville, KY.
In addition to welcoming the exhibitors of Hardscape North America (HNA), GIE+EXPO will be showcasing nearly 100 companies that did not exhibit in the show in 2009. HNA features indoor and outdoor exhibits displaying state-of-the-art tools and products and trade floor demonstrations and offers the latest technology for contractors. HNA is produced by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute and endorsed by the Brick Industry Association and National Concrete Masonry Association. In addition, the GIE+EXPO New Products Arena will feature dozens of products that have been introduced since last year’s show.
Other fresh aspects of the 2010 show include:
- New for lawn and landscape pros is the opportunity during the GIE+EXPO Workshops to learn about adding hardscape installation to their services and then the bonus of seeing eight live demos on specific hardscape services they can offer their customers. Pre-registration is required.
- In the demo area on Thursday and Friday, attendees will be able to watch and compete in the Walker World Driving Championship. After a break last year, Walker Manufacturing’s course will again provide an opportunity for Walker dealers, owners and operators to demonstrate their skills in a friendly competition with contestants from around the world. The top three operators will win awards, including an expense-paid vacation trip to Colorado.
- The High-Performance Department will have a new twist this year, with an emphasis on parts and accessories and how dealers can improve all aspects of this important part of their business. See the model showroom, participate in free presentations led by dealership guru Bob Clements and visit special exhibits by pavilion sponsors ARI Network Services, Ariens, Briggs & Stratton Corporation, Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, Hustler Turf Equipment, Kohler Company, Schiller Grounds Care, Stens and STIHL Inc. Heftee Industries will provide their Heftee 2000 lift, and Ideal Computer Systems will demonstrate its business management software.
- Dealers can learn how to profit from hardscape product sales by attending a workshop on Wednesday, October 27, sponsored by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute.
- Gravely, Ariens Company’s commercial brand, will be giving away one of their new redesigned Pro-Walk Hydro commercial walk-behind mowers, featuring new adjustable speed controls and universal cutting deck.
