Electric avenue

The Toro Company announces
the introduction of its first electric product, the Toro Workman e2050
utility vehicle.

Based on the Toro Workman mid-duty 1100/2100/2110 platform, the Workman
e2050 offers exceptional performance and versatility for any situation.
Regenerative braking provides superior stopping and efficient operation.

A powerful 500 amp drivetrain offers superior hill climbing capability
under all load conditions. In addition, the ultra efficient drivetrain
results in longer runtime between each charge.

Use your head

Hunter Industries
has released the PGJ, a new mid-range rotor for use on all 15- to 30-ft.
sites. The PGJ is available as a shrub head, 4-, 6- and 12-in. pop-ups,
and can be used as an alternative to spray heads on small turf or landscaped
areas.

Two rows of PGJs will irrigate the same area as three rows of spray heads.
Also, the PGJ can be installed on the same zone as larger Hunter rotors.

With a gallon-per-minute rate of .64 to 5.3, the PGJ is also recommended
for use on low pressure/low flow irrigation systems. Installer-friendly
features such as arc settings that can be adjusted with either a screwdriver
or Hunter wrench and a “captive” radius adjustment screw have
alos been built into the PGJ.

Deep stuff

Redexim Charterhouse’s
7215 Verti-Drain deep-tine aerator is the first of the next generation
of Verti-Drain machines that can boast a working width of 61 in. It can
also aerate to 10 in. maximum, making for greater productivity when fitted
to a 23-hp tractor.

Also offered are reinforced front and rear rollers, as well as a lighter
frame than the 73 series, allowing for lower horsepower requirements.
All included are maintenance free, self-lubricated sealed bearings on
all pivot points, three speed gearbox, and the patented parallelogram
action.
