Atlas Copco names new Edge product support technician

Atlas Copco’sEdge Drill Monitor product line. In his new role, Enthofen reports directly to Jason Blais, product manager, DTH (Down-The-Hole) Products. Enthofen’s position was effective April 4.
Enthofen comes to Atlas Copco from Wellbenders Directional Service. In his new position, his primary responsibilities will include complete product support for Edge DTH drill monitoring systems, supporting both Atlas Copco store and distributor channels.
“With his experience working on oil and gas drill rigs, Aaron will be a great asset to the success of Atlas Copco’s new Edge product,” states Blais.
The Edge Drill Monitor is a device for continuous monitoring that can be fitted to all types of deephole drill rigs that use Secoroc DTH hammers. It consists of a sensor, a data capturing and processing unit and a rugged PC with a 7-in. display screen that presents real-time visual translations for a driller of bit performance at the bottom of the hole.
