BOSTON — Michael Garrett and Michael Knight recently joined Converted Organics Inc. (COIN), based here, as sales representatives for the U.S. Northeast and the U.S. Southeast.

Garrett brings over 18 years of experience in sales, marketing and agriculture to Converted Organics. Prior to joining the company he was responsible for sales of organic fertilizers and soil conditioners to distributors and growers in California for Global Organics/Bioflora and prior to working with Global Organics/Bioflora, he was the Director of International Programs for the Raisin Administrative Committee, where he wrote and executed all marketing plans utilizing funds generated by growers.

Knight brings over 20 years of sales and agriculture experience to his new position at the company. Most recently, he was district sales manager in the U.S. Southeast for The Toro Company and T-Systems International.
