OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Franklin Electric, a manufacturer of water and fuel pumping systems, announces the launch of the Little Giant’s Landscape Training Program. The program includes an interactive Web site and PowerPoint, a comprehensive instructor’s manual, hands-on classroom training, and a quick reference field guide.

The Web site features a self-paced training course, complete with 10 comprehensive modules and review questions, detailed images and instructional videos. The online training, found at www.LGLTP.com, is currently in its beta testing stage, but will be available in January 2010 for anyone who wants to learn more about building a water garden.

Once registered on the site, the various modules are to be completed in order. The online review questions for each module must be answered prior to moving forward. Once all 10 modules and review questions are completed, participants take a comprehensive exam to receive their personalized “Online Certificate of Completion.”

In addition to the online training, the program features an in-depth manual for instructors to use while teaching the hands-on seminars. There will be numerous opportunities throughout the year to allow participants to attend the seminars in order to complete their “Little Giant Landscape Installer Certification” and receive their “Quick Reference Field Guide.”

Training seminars and complete pond-build classes, benefiting various charitable organizations, will be held in 2010 throughout the Little Giant network of distributors. The locations and dates for these events are to be determined.
