Nicolock Paving Stones & Retaining Walls, a manufacturer of concrete hardscape products based in Lindenhurst, NY, signed an exclusive manufacturing agreement with Earth Reinforcement Technologies, Inc. (ERT) of Woodstock, GA, to produce Trinity Retaining Wall at their three manufacturing locations in Lindenhurst, Frederick, MD and North Haven, CT.

The company recently launched a Commercial Sales Division with a dedicated technical sales team to focus on providing engineered solutions in commercial applications. Engineered modular retaining wall systems such as Trinity are a big part of the initiative, which also include unit concrete pavers and permeable interlocking concrete pavements (PICPs).

"Trinity Retaining Wall is a unique product that offers land developers and engineers an innovative segmental retaining wall (SRW) solution. As the name implies, one block provides three solutions” said Kevin Earley, Director of Commercial Sales for Nicolock. “The product provides great versatility by allowing contractors or engineers to choose either a frictional or mechanical geogrid connection, or use a structural anchorage method to construct an earth retaining wall. Another unique feature of the pin-less block: the cores align vertically allowing for easy stone fill and construction.” he added.

“We’ve already seen tremendous success with this product throughout the Eastern United States with approximately 1 million sq. ft. installed over the past two years. Several walls have been built in excess of 30 ft. tall” said Darren Fouts, Vice-President for ERT.
