Turbo TeeJet adds innovations to its spray tip product line
May 10, 2006 LM Week in Review
WHEATON, IL — Spraying Systems
Co.’s Mobile Systems Division announced
several new additions to its Turbo
TeeJet spray
tip product line.
The Turbo
TeeJet wide-angle flat spray tip product
line has a new 025 capacity (0.25 gpm
at 40 psi per tip). The company says the new
spray tip, combined with the QJ90 dual outlet
adaptor, produces a two-angled spray pattern
for better canopy penetration and leaf coverage
during fungicide applications. The tip is also
a good choice for insecticide application,
or for applying pre- or post-emergence contact
or systemic herbicides. Turbo TeeJet nozzles
also feature a large, rounded internal passage
to minimize clogging and produce larger droplets
for improved drift control. Constructed of
an economical, durable polymer, the TT provides
excellent corrosion and wear resistance. TT
nozzles can be used with a wide variety of
standard flat spray caps and feature automatic
spray alignment when used with Quick TeeJet
caps.
The Turbo
TeeJet Duo (TT Duo) provides better
canopy penetration and coverage than single
flat spray nozzles. The company says it produces
larger droplets than other dual spray nozzles,
giving greater drift control. The operating
pressure range is 15 to 90 psi and the angle
between spray patterns can be 60 degrees, 90
degrees or 120 degrees depending on tip configuration.
In addition, the QJ90 adapter cap used in the
TT Duo assembly can be easily equipped with
a wide range of other standard TeeJet spray
tips. Additional TT Duo benefits include nylon
construction of bodies and caps, acetal tips
for excellent chemical resistance/extended
wear life and color-coding to facilitate quick
capacity identification.
Turbo
TeeJet Induction (TTI) flat spray tips
produce large air-filled droplets for drift control
without compromising spray distribution. The
nozzle’s design eliminates the smaller
droplets in the spectrum and produces large,
air-filled, drift-resistant droplets. The TTI
is ideal for use with pre-emergence surface-applied
herbicides, post-emergence systemic herbicides
and systemic fungicides. The TTI gives the user
a choice of six capacities ranging from 0.15
to 0.5 gpm at 40 psi with an operating pressure
range of 15 to 100 psi. The tip is intended for
use with pre-emergence surface-applied herbicides,
post-emergence systemic herbicides and systemic
fungicides.
