Snowstorm blooms up to three weeks earlier and longer than most Agapanthus, flowering on average 70 days per season. It is extremely floriferous, producing an abundance of scapes or stems topped with light violet-blue flowers. When mature, it bears up to 100 stems on a mature plant per season. Bluestorm Agapanthus grows to a compact 30 in., making it well-suited to landscapes and container plantings. They are hardy in USDA zones 8 through 11.
