Green Giant is a fast growing, pyramid-shaped evergreen that has no serious pest or disease problems. It grows to 60 ft. tall with a 12- to 20-ft. spread at maturity. It has oblong cones that are about 1/2 in. long. Green Giant is adaptable, grows in soil types from sandy loams to heavy clays and requires little to no pruning. They are hardy in USDA zones 5 through9.
