LATHAM, NY — The New York State Turfgrass Association (NYSTA) invites members to attend the 2006 Small Business Day, March 28 at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany.

The event, co-sponsored by the Business Council of New York State, Chamber Alliance of New York State and the National Federation of Independent Business, gives small business owners a chance to communicate their message to state officials and policy makers. In the afternoon, attendees will pay visits to their state representatives.

Speakers include New York State Attorneny General Eliot Spitzer and Governor George Pataki. A panel of small business owners will discuss issues including estate tax, health insurance and energy costs.
