Benary has launched what it says is the earliest flowering XL pansy series for the market: Viola wittrockiana F1 'Thriller.' It offers large flowers and does not stretch, even under warm conditions, according to the company. Thriller’s sustainable large blooms continue well into fall, even under short days. The 2011-12 trend color is 'Thriller Purple,' which joins five other colors in the series: Primrose, Red with Blotch, White, Wine and Yellow with Blotch.
