America in Bloom Announces Webinar Series
15 Feb, 2011Ten free online seminars explain the benefits of America in Bloom participation.
Landscapers who would like to get their communities involved in the America in Bloom (AIB) beautification program can use a new series of webinars to learn about, and promote America in Bloom. The series of 10 free online are open to all interested parties.
Presenters include representatives from America in Bloom participating towns and veteran AIB judges. The live webinars are delivered as an online slide show, with the presenter's voice carried as streaming audio. Registered participants will have a chance to ask questions and can access these events from any location that has access to high-speed internet. All the webinars will also be recorded and available for viewing after broadcast later at AIB's site.
"Webinars are among the special programs we've planned in celebration of our tenth year," says Laura Kunkle, AIB executive director. "People have asked us for webinars, and we are excited about this series that showcases and provides practical solutions to cities across the country."
Each webinar starts at 2 p.m. EST and lasts for 60 minutes, which includes time for questions.
