Rosa Bishop Castle English rose

16 May, 2011

Rosa Bishop's CastleRosa 'Bishop's Castle' (Ausbecks) is a repeat-flowering rose featuring approximately 80 petals. The pink flowers are shallowly cupped and fully double with a central button eye. It is equally at home in mixed flower gardens with annuals, perennials and other shrubs. With its neat bushy habit (about 4x3 ft.) and "old rose" fragrance, it can also be used as a hedge planting. It is named after a market town not far from the David Austin Roses nursery in Shropshire, England. The bush is hardy in USDAZzones 5-9.
