ANLA announces winner of 'Big Fish, Little Pond'

18 Jul, 2010 LM Direct!

WASHINGTON — The American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA) announces the winner of the ANLA Job Board's "Big Fish, Little Pond" contest. Ralph DeGregorio, a plant and soil scientist from Arlington, MA, has won an Apple iPad for posting his resume on ANLA's job board. DeGregorio was chosen at random from 72 individuals, including students and professionals seeking jobs in retail, growing landscape and distribution, who had posted their resume on the site by July 1, 2010.

With its focus on Green Industry companies, the ANLA Job Board offers its members, and the industry at large, an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections. While ANLA members receive preferred pricing, both members and non-members can use the ANLA Job Board to reach qualified candidates. Employers can post jobs online, search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria, and create an online resume agent to email qualified candidates daily. They also benefit from online reporting that provides job activity statistics.
