Include's Seven to chair PLANET committee
13 May, 2010 LM Direct!GLEN BURNIE, MD — Nanette Seven, vice president of Include Software, has been appointed to chair the Suppliers Committee of the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET). Her three-year term will expire in 2013.
PLANET’s Suppliers Committee comprises vendors and suppliers in the industry, and is tapped by many other committees for support and donations of time and equipment for many of PLANET’s philanthropic endeavors. Seven plans to redefine how the committee operates and will place a Supplier Committee member on each of the other committees within PLANET to improve coordination.
“We’ll have educational resources, such as white papers and research papers, and do more to recruit new members,” said Seven.
Significant upcoming dates for the Supplier Committee include the Suppliers Summit in Chantilly, VA on June 2, 3 and 4, as well as Legislative Day on the Hill on July 18, in which members educate congress about issues in the green industry, and the Annual Renewal and Remembrance event at Arlington National Cemetery on July 19 and 20, in which members volunteer to spruce up the grounds of the sacred landmark.
