Olsen joins FX Luminaire sales team
11 May, 2010 LM Direct!SAN MARCOS, CA — Hunter Industries is proud to announce one additional member to its FX Luminaire sales team.
Last year, Hunter announced its acquisition of FX Luminaire, makers of low-voltage exterior lighting components. For 18 years, FX has utilized a dynamic, driven sales force, taking a fledgling company built by founder Josh Beadle and bringing it to the forefront of a competitive industry. And with Lumineux, the new LED-based line of lighting, the team is now equipped to meet the volatile demands of an ever-changing market.
In continuing with Hunter’s three decades of customer service and knowledgeable staff, Kevin Gordon, the sales and marketing manager of FX Luminaire, recruited a strong group of experienced industry professionals to join the team. The newest member is Chris Olsen, covering northern California and Nevada.
Olsen joins FX with 20 years of experience in sales and management with one of the largest distributors in the green industry. He has a proven sales history with landscape contractors throughout northern California, and directed specification of proprietary products with landscape architects while managing large commercial projects. He also was able to develop a strong customer base in the high-end custom residential design build market.
