NEW MILFORD, CT — YardApes recently hosted the Bob Rasor Memorial Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the YardApes Charity Fund. Since its inception, the tournament has raised $32,500 for the fund, which supports New Milford area youth in both academic and athletic endeavors.

"I feel that there’s no better way to build character and esteem in kids than through academic and athletic programs, and the mentoring inherent in each," says Shayne Newman, CLP, CLT, president of YardApes.

MVPSOS is the volunteer non-profit organization with which YardApes has partnered. It received all proceeds from The YardApes Charity Fund. The tournament is named after Bob Rasor, who was a founding member of MVPSOS.

The event took place at Bulls Bridge Golf Club, South Kent, CT. The first-place team of Marcel Lessaard, Glen Hood, Tony Reynaud and Roger Baral went 11 under par.
