The new wireless Landscape Irrigation and Maintenance Remote (LIMR) gives professionals the ability to activate their customers' controller devices without having to physically access their controllers. It consists of two primary components: a receiver and a handheld transmitter with an LCD screen and key pad. The receiver attaches to the Rain Bird controller and relays information sent by the contractor through the remote device, effectively telling the controller what to do. It reduces business operating costs by requiring fewer employees to handle the service call, and decreasing the total amount of time spent at a jobsite. The LIMR can also speed up system checks and sprinkler head alignment during installation. The information on the backlit LCD screen can be displayed in English, Spanish or French, making the remote easy to understand and use regardless of the user's primary language.
