Albaugh Specialty Products adds new Poa annua, grass and broadleaf weed solution

Albaugh Specialty Products said its Ethofumesate 4SC Select herbicide received EPA registration. This herbicide offers pre- and postemergent control of Poa annua and broad-spectrum control of grass and broadleaf weeds.

Featuring a high concentration of its active ingredient with low use rates, Ethofumesate 4SC Select targets Poa annua on lawns, according to Albaugh. Albaugh Specialty Products said its water-based 4SC formula is safe on labeled cool-season grasses and several warm-season turf species as well.

Albaugh Specialty Products said Ethofumesate 4SC Select is also effective on barnyard grass, black nightshade, chickweed, crabgrass, foxtail, lambsquarters, pigweed/purslane and other weeds.

“With the flexibility to be applied in both the spring and fall and the versatility of pre- and postemergence control, Ethofumesate 4SC Select offers the green industry a proven solution to the perennial problem of Poa annua,” notes Russ Mitchell, director for Albaugh Specialty Products.
