Applications open for the Herring Group’s Landscape Peer Benchmark Report

The Herring Group is accepting applications for participation in the 8th annual Landscape Industry Peer Benchmark Report, sponsored by Aspire Software and Integrated Payroll Services (IPS) now through Nov. 4.

The annual report gives growing landscape companies the opportunity to see how their business stacks up against their peers in the industry. Participants submit their income statement and balance sheet directly to a secure server. The Herring Group will categorize data so that data is truly comparable.

Each company’s results are presented anonymously in a separate column — revenue mix, key expense types and net income as a percentage of revenue. The Herring Group said the report serves as a scorecard for past performance, as well as a valuable tool for future planning and budgeting.

Greg Herring, founder of the operational and strategic finance consultancy The Herring Group, will host a live webinar following the distribution of the report on Dec. 9. Participating owners attend the follow-up webinar to learn how best to use the report findings to motivate their team members and drive business growth.
