“Aqua Cents Water Management receives the Technology Business of the Year Award for their innovation and creativity in adapting the established water-saving benefits of hydrogels to a new patented technology application,” said Mysty Rusk, assistant regional director of program innovation and technology commercialization.

According to the company, Aqua Cents hydrogels are formulated to absorb up to 400 times their weight in water and beneficial nutrients. Biodegradable and environmentally safe, the product also helps to improve aeration, water infiltration and distribution uniformity.
