Arborjet introduced AzaSol WSP.

AzaSol WSP is a botanical, water-soluble powdered insecticide and growth regulator derived from the neem tree. The product provides effective treatment for whiteflies, leafminers, scale, mealybugs, thrips, aphids, psyllids, flies, sawflies, caterpillars, beetles and weevils.

Through its patented production process, AzaSol WSP provides an exceptionally potent, non-oil-based and environmentally friendly insect control solution for trees, shrubs, gardens, vegetables, fruit trees and herbs, according to the company. It can be used as a spray or soil drench.

Similar to the company’s AzaSol, the product is the same non-oil-based and organic formulation. AzaSol WSP has a consumer-friendly label that can be sold without any additional licensing. The Azasol WSP contains 6 percent Azadirachtin, systemic and translaminar. The product is currently registered for sale in the states of California, Oregon, Washington and Colorado.

The product is listed under Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI). Learn more about what the OMRI designation means here.

Benefits of AzaSol WSP, according to the company, include:

  • No oily residue or clogging of equipment;
  • It won’t burn leaves or block photosynthesis;
  • It’s systemic and translaminar (absorbed through leaves); and
  • Same day harvest.
