Arizona’s Paramount Landscape acquired

|

Paramount Landscape & Maintenance, headquartered in Chandler, Ariz., was acquired by a private investor. Terms of the acquisition, which closed on Jan. 31, were not disclosed.

Founded in the mid-1990s, Paramount is a full-service landscape company primarily serving homeowner associations and commercial properties. The company, formerly owned by Brian Golembiewski, had a 2013 annual revenue of $3.2 million with approximately 60 employees.

“After almost 20 years of growing and running this company, the daily grind was becoming difficult,” said Golembiewski. “Other factors like being responsible for 60 employees and dealing with Obamacare also played big roles.”

Golembiewski will stay on in a short-term consultative role to the company’s new owner, who is a private party from outside of the landscape industry.

Little else will change, he said: “The buyer has indicated that it is his intention to maintain the company, its team, its image and complete branding given the quality reputation that accompanies it.”

Dallas-based Generational Equity advised Paramount on the transaction.
