Avant Tecno unveils the Avant e5 loader

Avant Tecno USA unveiled the Avant e5, a fully electric, battery-powered articulated loader.

The compact Avant e5 was designed for both indoor and outdoor use, but it’s especially suitable for indoor use as it releases no emissions and has a minimal noise level.

It comes with an in-machine charging unit, a 240Ah lead acid battery and two electric motors—a 6kW motor for driving the machine and a 2kW motor for loader boom operation and auxiliary hydraulics.

The loader can be operated while charging. A full charge takes about five hours, but the machine can reach 80 percent battery capacity within three hours.

Additionally, it features an auxiliary hydraulics flow of 8 gallons per minute, fits all standard Avant attachments and operates between one and four hours, depending on the type of work being performed.
