Bayer sponsors NALP’s Women in Landscape Network

The Turf & Ornamentals division of Bayer, part of the company’s Environmental Science Unit, will be the title sponsor of the National Association of Landscape Professionals’ (NALP) Women in Landscape Network (WILN).

“We are exceptionally honored to sponsor the Women in Landscape Network,” said John Wendorf, customer marketing manager for the Bayer lawn and ornamentals business segments.  “Bayer is very passionate about diversity and inclusion and supports a variety of initiatives that work to advance diversity and inclusion in the industries we support. The WILN fits in perfectly with those efforts, and we look forward to supporting the network as it serves to connect, empower and advocate for women in the lawn and landscape industry.”

The WILN is a place for women to interact, share stories, get support and ask for expert advice. The network was created in 2019 to connect, empower and advocate for women in the landscape industry. Together, NALP and Bayer are committed to driving the change necessary to recruit and retain female professionals and amplify the voices of women leaders through the WILN.

As part of its three-year commitment to supporting women in the landscape industry, Bayer will hold one seat and serve on the WILN leadership team.
