Takeuchi-U.S. added Luby Equipment Services as the exclusive St. Louis dealer. The company has three locations in the St. Louis metro area.

Luby Equipment will carry the full lineup of Takeuchi equipment, including excavators, track loaders, skid-steer loaders and wheel loaders. The dealer provides sales, service, parts and rental.

Established in 1974, Luby Equipment is headquartered in Fenton, Mo. It has six branches that carry compact construction equipment, three in Missouri and three in Illinois. Started by Bob Luby, the dealer remains a family company with Bob’s sons, Tim and Steve. Steve is president of Luby Equipment and Luby Shoring services, and Tim is part of the senior management team.

“Luby Equipment has been a strong partner with Takeuchi in the Illinois and Missouri markets for many years,” said Jeff Stewart, vice president and general manager at Takeuchi-U.S. “There is a lot of opportunity around the St. Louis area, and Takeuchi will certainly fill a need there, backed by tremendous dealer support.”

Takeuchi also named Synergy Equipment as the exclusive Takeuchi dealer supporting the Macon, Ga., market. The company also has 18 other locations throughout Georgia, Alabama, Florida and South Carolina. The dealer specializes in machinery sales, product support and rental of construction equipment.

Synergy Equipment will carry Takeuchi’s full lineup, including excavators, track loaders, skid-steer loaders and wheel loaders. The dealer provides sales, service, parts and rental to customers throughout middle Georgia.

Established in 2012, Synergy Equipment provides multiple lines of equipment manufacturers for a wide variety of customers from large commercial construction to local contractors.

Finally, Takeuchi introduced RoadBuilders Machinery & Supply as a new dealer. Located in Springfield, Mo., the company also has a location in Kansas City, Kan., where it is headquartered, and four locations throughout Nebraska.

RoadBuilders Machinery & Supply will carry the full lineup of Takeuchi equipment, including excavators, track loaders, skid-steer loaders and wheel loaders. The dealer provides sales, service, parts and rental to customers throughout southwest Missouri, including Springfield, Branson and Joplin.

Originally starting off serving the construction industry when it was established in 1985, the dealer has since branched off into additional markets with more available equipment lines. This includes construction, earthmoving, mining, landscaping, erosion control, aggregate processing, drilling, material handling, paving, compaction, trailers and attachment products.

Arborjet and Ecologel Solutions will serve as the official silver sponsor of Project EverGreen’s GreenCare for Troops program.

“We are proud to support Project EverGreen as their mission aligns with our philosophy of preserving green spaces, including lawns, trees, parks and communities in a sustainable way. We look forward to working with them to help support our troops during this especially challenging time. Helping them maintain their lawns is just one small way we feel we can make a meaningful contribution,” said Ecologel President Rick Irwin.

GreenCare for Troops (GCFT) is a need-based program for active-duty deployed service members. Last year, the program engaged close to 1,500 active volunteers, who helped more than 700 military families maintain their home lawns. Since its inception, more than 11,000 military families and 6,000 contractors have registered for the program.

Now during the COVID-19 pandemic, Project EverGreen is expanding the GCFT program to offer landscaping services to the healthcare heroes serving on the front lines of the pandemic.

As part of this sponsorship, Ecologel has committed to provide free Hydretain products to help maintain the lawns and landscapes of deployed military personnel, while also helping them reduce their water bills.

Arborjet also plans to award scholarships through its “Taking Root Scholarship Program,” now in its seventh consecutive year.

“We want parents, educators, counselors and the greater tree care community to join us in encouraging young students to transform their ingenuity and passion into a career in this important industry. Through Arborjet’s ‘Taking Root’ Scholarship Program, we recognize dedicated students who are already demonstrating achievement in their schools and communities, and who want to lend their skills and talents to grow our industry,” said President and COO of Arborjet Russ Davis.

Applicants for Arborjet’s 2020 “Taking Root” scholarship program must be graduating U.S. high school seniors planning to major in forestry or related major (listed above) for the entire 2020-21 academic year at an accredited two-or four-year college or university.
