IrriGreen_Genius_Server-and-Mobile-AppColorado Pump & Supply (CPS) is now distributing the IrriGreen Genius Irrigation System to contractors in Colorado and Wyoming. The system is designed to precisely and efficiently irrigate lawns based on the exact contour of the landscape.

With 13 locations, CPS is a wholesale distributor of professional pump, irrigation and landscape supplies to contractors in the Rocky Mountain region.

“CPS has been a leader in water saving technologies, products and industry awareness initiatives in Colorado and Wyoming for many years,” said Dave Nelson, director of sales and marketing of CPS distributors. “IrriGreen is a new technology that our contractors can offer to their customers looking for innovative, more efficient lawn irrigation options. In addition, IrriGreen can help contractors save installation time and reduce labor costs.”

With IrriGreen, installers configure zones and set the sprinkler heads on their smartphones using the Genius mobile app. IrriGreen automatically calculates spray distances, sets the mapping points and sends the data through Wi-Fi to the IrriGreen Genius server. The IrriGreen Controller then digitally controls the multi-volume watering patterns to follow the contours of the grass.

Like an inkjet printer spraying ink in controlled patterns on a page, the IrriGreen system applies patterns of water in exact shapes on a lawn. Eliminating inefficient overlapping sprays and over-spraying onto hardscapes, IrriGreen conserves water, reducing water use as much as 50 percent, the company said.
