Elvex, a designer and manufacturer of safety equipment, unveiled its wireless communication system, ComConnect.

This headset comes with a built-in noise-canceling microphone, which allows users to place and receive phones calls even in noisy environments. When not using the headset for phone calls, users can sync-up to MP3 players or mobile devices to listen to music while on the job site. It has a pairing range of 10 feet.

The ComConnect provides hearing protection at a 22 noise reduction rating (NRR).

Additionally, the ComConnect features an automatic shut-off, which turns off the unit after four hours of idle time.
