EP Henry resumes HeroScaping program in 2014

EP Henry is continuing its HeroScaping program in 2014, the company’s active military and veterans donation program.

Since its inception in 2012, the program has contributed more than $325,000 in materials, labor and monetary contributions to military-related projects and organizations. Continuing this part of the program in 2014, for every contractor-installed project registered for a lifetime warranty, EP Henry will make a donation in the homeowner’s name to one of two pre-qualified charities, including Fisher House and the National Military Family Association.

“As a family company with three former owners having served in the armed forces, we are honored to be able to support those who serve our country,” said CEO J.C. Henry. “The goal for our third year of the HeroScaping program is to continue to increase the number of people and communities that we can positively impact.”

Some of the 2013 projects EP Henry donated to and partnered with contractors on include:

  • “Fallen Heroes” Firefighters Memorial in Shamong, N.J.;
  • Veteran’s Memorial Park, Oak Valley School in Depford, N.J.;
  • Independent Fire Co. No. 1 in Burlington, N.J.;
  • Sean M. Flannery Memorial in Wyomissing, Pa.;
  • The home of Afghanistan-wounded CPL Matthew Hanes in East Manchester Township, Pa.; and
  • New Hope Eagle Fire Company Memorial in New Hope, Pa.
