ETwater, an irrigation service, is now available for public use for a monthly subscription fee.

According to ETwater, the company has been investing and developing a cloud-based smart irrigation system that has the ability to reduce water consumption by 50 percent.

The ETwater irrigation service includes a new or retrofit smart controller device; all-day service for landscaping and programming needs; water schedules with weather forecast and prediction features; wireless network connectivity; adjustable alerts; and flow control, monitoring and break detection.

ETwater was the first company to obtain the Irrigation Associaton’s Smart Water Application Testing in 2001, says the company, and is also EPA Watersense certified.
