Groveland, Fla.-based IMG Enterprises launched a new full-service grounds maintenance company, which will operate under the LegacyScapes brand. IMG Enterprises is the parent company of Cherry Lake Tree Farm and LegacyScapes, which ranked No. 119 on the 2015 LM150 list with $11.9 million in 2014 revenue.
“We believe there is an unmet demand for reliable, high-quality grounds maintenance services in the Central Florida market,” said Timothee Sallin, president of Cherry Lake Tree Farm and LegacyScapes. “With a lot of merger and acquisition activity happening in the grounds maintenance industry, customers now have very few options to choose from. We can offer a competitive, locally owned family business alternative to the large national corporations.”
The new company will provide full-service grounds maintenance for commercial and residential properties in Central Florida.
IMG Enterprises hired Wyatt Cartwright, a former Austin Outdoor branch manager, as director of grounds maintenance. The company expects the grounds maintenance operation to create 100 jobs in the next five years.
“Adding grounds maintenance is a natural evolution for our company,” Sallin said. “The added diversification strengthens our existing operations in landscape and horticulture and the integration will allow us to provide unique value for our clients.”
