FMC Professional Solutions is offering lawn care professionals a $15 per bottle instant rebate on QuickSilver herbicide from April 15 to June 15 via the “2015 QuickSilver Enhance Your Performance Promotion.”
“Good things happen when QuickSilver is in the mix, so we want to encourage turf managers to use QuickSilver during the critical spring use-season,” said Jay Young, herbicide brand manager for FMC. “Lawn care operators find that adding QuickSilver to their postemergence spray programs broadens their spectrum of weed control and reduces call backs.”
A contact herbicide effective in both cool and warm conditions, QuickSilver is gentle on a variety of grasses, including Bermudagrass and St. Augustine grass in newly seeded, sodded or sprigged areas. Field trials have shown that adding QuickSilver herbicide to postemergence broadleaf herbicide tank mixes speeds up weed control with visible results within 24 hours, according to FMC.
