FMC Corp. named Brian Mount and Ken Hutto technical service managers for its FMC Professional Solutions (FPS) business. The newly created positions will provide strong technical support for FMC customers and the sales organization.

Previously, Hutto and Mount were product development leads.  In their new positions they will work closely with sales, marketing and key customers to technically support FPS products and will provide field support for innovation projects and new product introductions.

“Ken and Brian bring broad technical product knowledge to the development, launch and market support of FMC products,” said Bethwyn Todd, director of FPS. “Most importantly, they are very skilled in using this product knowledge to help our customers get maximum value from FMC products.”

Hutto joined FMC in 2007. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Auburn University and Master of Science and Doctorate degrees in weed science, with a specialization in turfgrass weed management from Mississippi State University. After receiving his Ph.D., he worked at the University of Florida as a post-doctoral research associate at the West Florida Research and Education Center, conducting research in turfgrass science.

Mount joined FMC in 2000 and has held several positions within FPS, including technical service representative, field technical service representative and turf and ornamental market specialist in Florida. He’s versed with working with several national and regional pest management companies.

Mount received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management from Bryant University and a Master of Science degree in entomology from the University of Nebraska.
