|

General Equipment Co. released the new M235 two-man hole digger.

Featuring a Briggs & Stratton 190 cc, 4.5-horsepower gas engine, the M235 delivers a maximum drilling torque of 154 ft.-lbs. The newly designed, oil-cooled transmission includes a centrifugal, all-metal clutch and machine-cut spur gears with a 1-inch diameter output shaft. The new transmission lock feature allows for easy removal of a stuck auger from the ground without disconnecting the power unit from the auger.

The M235 features polymeric Gen 2 Comfort-Flex operator handle technology with integrated flex-type handle grips, which is designed to absorb torque-related kickback forces and machine vibrations. Additionally, it is also 30 percent lighter than other General Equipment two-man hole digger models

The M235 is well-suited for a range of hole digging applications in various soil types, the company said.

A full line of augers in 2.25-, 3.25- 4-, 6-, 8-, 10-, and 12-inch diameters are available and provide a digging depth of 30 inches. A 15-inch extension is also available for deeper hole digging applications.
