Gravely’s redesigned Pro-Turn 400

Gravely revealed a redesigned series of Pro-Turn 200 and Pro-Turn 400 commercial zero-turn mowers at GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Ky., Oct. 22. According to the company, the new Gravely Pro-Turn 200 and 400 series feature smarter components, a smoother ride and more intuitive controls.

“As we step into our 100th year of business, we couldn’t be more excited about the next generation of Gravely commercial mowers,” said Gravely Brand Director Bill Engler. “We’ve spent years researching and talking to the professionals that rely on our equipment, and we used that feedback to redesign and reinvent the Gravely brand.”

The Pro-Turn 200 and 400 series mowers are offered in 52-, 60- or 72-inch deck sizes, and are available with either Kawasaki or Kohler EFI engines.

The mowers offer many updates from previous models. A constant belt-tensioning system is designed to produce a consistent blade tip speed and eliminate belt slippage. The deck level system requires only a four-point adjustment and reduces parts by 50 percent. Found on the Pro-Turn 400 series, the EZ Lift Deck System features 19 cutting systems in quarter-inch increments, requires 25 percent less power to operate and is manufactured with 50 percent less parts. The mowers also feature the X-Factor II Deck, a seven-gauge, all-steel welded deck, and radial rear tires.

A number of accessories are also available for the Pro-Turn 200 and 400, including commercial bagger systems, custom-made seats, an operator-controlled chute discharge, mulching kit, professional headlight kit and a full range of tow-behind accessories.

The Pro-Turn 200 starts at a list price of $9,899, and the Pro-Turn 400 starts at $11,999.
