The partnership includes nationwide distribution of Greenworks Commercial tools in SiteOne locations across the U.S. and online.

“SiteOne is committed to delivering superior products, service and value to ensure our customers’ success. Adding Greenworks Commercial as our outdoor battery-powered equipment offering is a great way for us to bring market-leading technology to landscaping professionals in order to increase their productivity and lower their costs,” said Jeff Domenick, category director for SiteOne. “We’re excited to offer our customers this innovative solution.”

Powered by 82-volt battery technology, Greenworks Commercial tools comprise the GS180 chainsaw, GT260 hedge trimmer, GT160 string trimmer, GB500 and GB600 axial blowers, GBB600 backpack blower and the GM210 3-in-1 lawn mower.

Beginning in early 2017, Greenworks Commercial will offer three models of zero-turn mowers, the GZM 33W walk-behind zero-turn Mower, the GZM 48S stand-on 48” zero-turn mower, and the GZM 52R ride-on 52” zero-turn mower.

‘Landscaper of the Year’ program

Also beginning in 2017, the company is driving recognition to its customers in that of the Greenworks Commercial “Landscaper of the Year” program.

Slated to launch in January, the program aims to honor the men and women of the landscaping industry who apply their trade in a volunteer capacity to create a positive change within their community.

Twelve winners—one per month—will be selected, based on written nominations that detail each nominee’s community impact. All 12 monthly winners will be awarded with a complete set of Greenworks Commercial 82-volt outdoor power equipment and will be eligible for the grand prize: an all-expense-paid trip for four to the 2017-18 College Football National Championship in Atlanta.

“Landscaping professionals are oftentimes the unsung heroes of their communities,” said Chris Allen, president of Greenworks North America. “Whether they are cleaning up a park in an underprivileged area, beautifying the yard of an elderly neighbor, helping with disaster relief, or any of a number of other activities to better their community, we want to honor and recognize the hardworking men and women that keep America, and our neighborhoods, beautiful and safe.”

Details on how to enter, along with terms and conditions of the program, will be released in December.
