Greater Texas Landscape Services (GTL) and Hadden Landscaping merged. Although terms weren’t disclosed, the combined entity will continue to exist as two individual corporate names and will share resources, with The Groundskeeper being the parent company of both.

The Groundskeeper/GTL reported an annual revenue of $44,500,000 in 2012, according to the 2013 LM150 rankings. In addition to Texas, the Tucson, Ariz.-based company also has operation in Arizona, Utah, Nevada and New Mexico.

Hadden, which has more than 125 employees, has locations in Plano, Texas, and Fort Worth, Texas. GTL’s office is in Lewisville, Texas, and has other Texas service locations in Waco, Austin, San Antonio, Rio Grande Valley and the Houston region.

Deborah Cole, GTL president, founded the company in 1981 in Austin, Texas. The DFW branch opened in 2010. Hadden was founded in Plano in 1979 by David Hadden.

“We are excited to be working with Hadden Landscaping,” Cole said.  The Hadden team is of the same caliber as the GTL group and our operational values are completely in sync with each other. Our customers will benefit from the combined group serving their needs. Our two companies strive for the best in landscape operations, value driven service and ethical business practices. We both accept nothing but the best from our team members.”

David Hadden added: “Finding a partner that shares our values and commitment to both customers and employees was of paramount importance to us. We look forward to the company continuing to grow and prosper as part of the Great Texas Landscapes.”

As a combined operation, GTL and Hadden will continue to provide landscape design, construction and maintenance services for commercial sites and homeowner associations throughout Texas.
