HeartLand acquires 3 commercial landscape companies

HeartLand Co. acquired three additional commercial landscape and facilities services companies: Heritage Landscape Services, Landscape Concepts Management and Snowmen365.

HeartLand of Mission Woods, Kan., was ranked No. 33 on the 2019 LM150 list with net revenue of $53.7 million in 2018. HeartLand has seven operating companies that serve clients in Kansas City; Denver; Columbia, Mo.; Lexington, Ky.; Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., and Chicago. Services include turnkey grounds maintenance, landscape enhancements and winter services.

“The Heritage and Landscape Concepts acquisitions strategically establish Heartland’s presence in the Washington, D.C., and Chicago markets, two of the largest metropolitan markets in the country, while the Snowmen365 acquisition strengthens Heartland’s presence in Kansas City,” said Charles Santoro, managing partner and founder of Sterling. “In addition, each of these companies is a leader in its respective market and serves a high-quality and diverse customer base.”

Landscape Concepts Management of Grayslake, Ill., was ranked No. 65 on the 2019 LM150 list and netted $30 million in revenue in 2018. Landscape Concepts is a full-service commercial landscape and facilities services provider with nearly 40 years in business. Services include maintenance, enhancement work, winter services and tree care and irrigation. The company has been a consistent local and national award winner.

Heritage Landscape is a landscape management and installation firm serving commercial clients. The company offers a wide array of services, including contract maintenance, landscape enhancements, irrigation work and winter services, and has a strong reputation for a high level of customer service.

Snowmen365, of Kansas City, Mo., is a full-service commercial snow and ice management provider, focusing its primary efforts on commercial winter services.
