Husqvarna expands commercial lineup with new engines, new machines
Husqvarna added several new products to its lineup: Yamaha engines for Husqvarna Z500 series commercial zero-turns, the Automower 550 and 550H, chainsaws, hedge trimmers and more.
“We are excited to announce that we’re expanding our commercial product lineup even further to offer professionals more solutions to increase productivity and efficiency and help grow their businesses,” said Earl Bennett, president of Husqvarna Brand Division North America.
Yamaha engine
Yamaha engines are available for the full line of Z500 series commercial zero-turn mowers.
Starting at an MSRP of $7,999.95 and ranging from 26 to 33 hp, Yamaha engine versions come with a five-year commercial warranty.
Automower
Husqvarna’s Automower 550 and 550H models are designed for landscapers, municipalities, commercial business estates and sports clubs.
The Automower 550 comes equipped with Fleet Services, Husqvarna’s cloud-based fleet management software. It can handle lawns up to 1.25 acres and slopes up to 45 percent. It also features GPS-assisted navigation.
Automower 550H includes the same features as the 550 model but is designed to handle lawns that require a higher cutting height of up to 3.6 inches.
Chainsaws
Part of Husqvarna’s new Endurance Collection, the 572XP chainsaw delivers a 12 percent higher cutting capacity over similarly sized Husqvarna saws, according to the company.
The new engine design offers a wide usable RPM range and better filtration system, while its new cooling capacity provides for a longer engine life. It weighs 14.5 pounds and is equipped with a 5.8-hp engine.
The company also added to its roster of tree care saws and accessories with the Husqvarna 565 70cc chainsaw, the new T525 top-handle saw and new arborist helmets.
The Husqvarna 565 is a powerful new saw in the 70cc class and comes with a clutch cover designed to optimize rapid, safe saw chip ejection to prevent clogging, even when cutting long fiber wood. The efficient air injection system filters out 98 percent of incoming dust, Husqvarna said.
The Husqvarna T525, designed to be the company’s lightest gas-powered tree care saw, includes a low-emission X-Torq engine and features a quick release air filter cover that saves time when cleaning or changing the saw’s spark plug or filter. The belt eyelet makes it easy to connect the saw to the climbing harness, and the auto-return stop switch automatically resets the saw to the on position for easier starting.
Rounding out its forestry offerings, Husqvarna’s arborist helmets include the Husqvarna Elevation–Class C Arborist Helmet—and Husqvarna Spire–Class E Arborist Helmet. Both helmets meet ANSI and CSA requirements, are ventilated and come with universal fit and depth adjustment settings, wheel ratchet adjustment and a three-year warranty.
Hedge trimmers
A new line of gas-powered hedge trimmers, Husqvarna’s 522HD60S and 522HDR75S , feature high cutting capacity due to a special knife design and gear ratio and efficient air filtration through a four-stage air filter.
The 522HD60S is double-sided hedge trimmer with a robust design, low vibration levels and 23-inch blade length that also comes as a coarse-cut version.
The 522HDR75S is a double-sided, coarse cut hedge trimmer featuring a 30-inch blade length paired with a robust design and low vibration levels. Husqvarna will also offer a single-sided, coarse-cut hedge trimmer in the 522HS75S, also featuring a 30-inch blade length.
String trimmers
The company’s new series of low-weight 35cc string trimmers come equipped with Husqvarna’s low-emission X-Torq engines and SmartStart technology.
The new 535 line contains two straight shaft models as well as one detachable combination shaft model. The 535LS features a steel drive and straight shaft with a 34.6cc and 2.2-hp engine. The 535LST includes the X-Torq engine and is designed for full-time brush and grass clearing. The 535LK is the detachable combination shaft model with the X-Torq engine.
Walk-behind mower
The new L321AHE all-wheel-drive mower integrates a commercial Kohler HD775 engine, a large-capacity bag, high rear wheels and a reinforced 21-inch PremierCut deck and an electric start.
Sprayers
The company is also adding sprayers back into its product lineup. The sprayers come in three different sizes:
- 4-gallon backpack sprayer;
- 2-gallon compression handheld sprayer; and
- 48-ounce handheld sprayer.
