Hustler Turf Equipment introduced product updates throughout its line of mowers.

“We are excited to announce the new and improved enhancements to the Hustler Turf lineup,” said Brad Unruh, director of product strategy. “Hustler is known for its innovative spirit and we are continually looking for ways to improve our already solid line-up of mowers and build them even better for our customers.”

Upgrades start with the residential Raptor family of mowers. Kawasaki FR series engine options will be available on select models of the Raptor and Raptor SD. The Raptor and Raptor SD will also come with an engine guard standard. The Raptor Limited will now be equipped with Flex Forks and an upgraded seat to maximize operator comfort.

Beginning with the 2018 model year, the Kohler 7500 Series EFI engine will be available on select models of the Hustler FasTrak. Benefits of the Kohler 7500 Series EFI engine include quick and easy starting, more power and enhanced fuel efficiency, according to the company.

The Hustler Super Z and Super Z HyperDrive commercial mowers will feature the new enhanced VX4 deck. Now constructed with heavy 7-gauge steel, the deck will also feature a reinforced spindle area, a formed steel bump bar on the leading edge, commercial anti-scalp wheel with internal spacer and additional upgrades.

For 2018, The Super Z and Super Z HyperDrive will also feature engine guard bumpers, a new 11.7-gallon fuel tank, rear wheel with heavier center disc, tapered front caster and wheel bearings and new deck lift and height pinning system.

Tapered front caster and wheel bearings, front tie downs and revised deck lift are some of the updates on the Hustler Super S stand-on mower.

“Residential models have more options and standard features that appeal to a broader range of customers and give them the best overall value in a residential mower,” said Unruh. “Commercial units are being completely upgraded in strength and durability to meet the most challenging demands of a commercial cutter and keep them going without downtime.”
