Juniper, a landscape company based in Fort Myers, Fla., acquired Turner Tree and Landscape in Bradenton, Fla. The company will now operate under the name “Turner Tree—a Juniper Company.” Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Turner’s great reputation and common vision for providing quality landscape services made the acquisition a win-win,” said Brandon Duke, COO for Juniper. “We will be able to provide our joint customers the best in market for designing, building and maintaining quality landscapes.”

Turner Tree will operate as Juniper’s fourth branch office. The branch will serve Turner’s current footprint and client base and expand offerings to include Juniper’s maintenance and design+build services. The Bradenton-based office will serve customers in Sarasota, Bradenton, Tampa and surrounding areas.

Darrell Turner, former owner of Turner Tree, will stay on board to manage the branch and act as a senior manager of the company. His staff will also remain with the company.

“We are excited to retain Darrell and his very competent staff,” said Mike Duke, president of Juniper. “Darrell is a pillar of the landscape industry and will be a valuable resource for the company.”

Juniper, which offers design, construction, maintenance and irrigation, has more than 400 employees and services Southwest Florida clients from Tampa to Marco Island, Fla. The company is No. 42 on the LM150 list of revenue-generating landscape firms with $35,725,300 in 2015 revenue, a 61 percent change over 2014.
