If you listened to Landscape Live! last night, you would have been thoroughly impressed with our youngest guest so far, AJ Davis, owner and operator of Davis Outdoor Jobs. At just 24 years of age, Davis is wise beyond his years. Entering the industry at just 10 years old, he started a landscape business with only three clients. He maintained his company throughout high school and college, and in 2012, he graduated from SUNY Delhi with a degree in landscape design and management. 
His business took off his first year out of college as he grew his business to 56 clients and tripled his gross profits. When asked what he attributes his success to, Davis says the three most important things to him are 1). a passion for his business and the industry, 2). asking for help from people who know more than you and 3). networking, networking, networking.
