Lawn Dawg offers mosquito control

March 17, 2014 -  By

In hand with its newly formed pest control division, Lawn Dawg is offering mosquito control services in 2014.

“Some of the biggest nuisances to enjoying outdoor spaces during the spring and summer are mosquitoes,” said Jim Campanella, Lawn Dawg founder. “But they also pose a serious health risk. There are more than 200 different kinds of mosquitoes and they can be carriers of dangerous diseases like EEE or the West Nile virus.”

Lawn Dawg’s program is designed to control mosquito populations that surround a homeowner’s property, targeting high-risk areas such as foliage from trees and shrubs, standing water and under decks and awnings. Professionals will spray those areas four to six times per year.

“The all-natural treatments are designed not to harm grass, shrubs or flowers and are safe for families and pets,” Campanella said. “The applications are timed to provide the best control against mosquito populations.”
