Mariani Premier Group, No. 11 on the 2023 LM150 list, acquired Blue Landscape Contracting Group and Blue Outdoor Solutions, based in Naples, Fla. The move marks the 15th company acquired by Mariani, as it continues to expand its national platform and extends its footprint to the Sunshine State.

Tim Felts, Lawrence Perillo, Frank Kitchener and John Mcfadden founded Blue Landscape and Blue Outdoor Solutions in 2013. Felts, Perillo, Kitchener and Mcfadden will continue to run the company. Blue Landscape and Blue Outdoor Solutions cater to private residences and commercial businesses.

“We are pleased to welcome such a well-respected firm to the Mariani family,” said Frank Mariani, Mariani Premier Group chairman. “Just like us, Blue Landscape Contracting Group and Blue Outdoor Solutions are guided by the principle of premium service and provide clients with beautiful outcomes.”

“Blue” in the company’s name stands for beautifying landscapes and upgrading environments. The company’s maintenance services include hardscape installation, synthetic turf, irrigation, lighting, landscape construction, lawn and ornamental sprays and fencing. The firm serves the areas of Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Marco Island, Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach.

“We are excited about the new partnership with the Mariani Premier Group. It’s rare to find a large platform that shares the same values as us in terms of customer service and best-in-class quality,” said Felts.

Earlier this year, Mariani Premier Group formed and has continued to grow in the months since. Prior to this latest move, the company made its first mid-Atlantic acquisition with the addition of Planted Earth Landscaping, based in the Washington, D.C., metro area. Mariani added seven family-owned landscape companies in 2022 and has also added Ed Castro Landscape, a full-service operation in Roswell, Ga.; and Glengate in Wilton, Conn.; Borst Landscape & Design, in Allendale, N.J.; Southview Design of St. Paul, Minn.; and Siciliano Landscape Co. of Red Bank, N.J.
